Civil Celebrant
Romantic and relaxed ceremonies which enhance the significance of your vows
Many couples are now booking weddings many months, in fact in some cases 24 months ahead of the planned ceremony date, so please don’t delay in making your own booking for your very special day.
When we meet I will guide you, assist you and make suggestion in regard to your special day, your personal ceremony, and ensure you understand and comply with the legal requirements. I consider my role as a professional Celebrant is not only to conduct your marriage, but also to ensure you are able to relax and enjoy your ceremony.
Your inital ‘obligation free’ meeting with me will include discussions on all aspects of planning your ceremony. It is important you feel comfortable and relaxed with me, as it is your special day.
We can discuss your vows, reading, positioning of the Bridal Party, music, flowers, presentation of Bride, presentation of rings, involement and acknowledgement of children, and any other queries you might have. I ‘walk’ you through the ceremony and guide you and your attendants.
I will give you a booklet which I have compiled, containing a variety of vows, wedding ceremonies, poems and other interesting wedding information. You can use the contents of the booklet to either choose your vows, ceremonies and poems or you might like to use the information as a base to create your won personal vows, individual and unique ceremony.
I will be pleased to adapt to the feeling and mood you want to experience, whether in a romanic garden setting, at sunset on the beach, sailing on the river, traditional or modern, large or small - it is your day and it will be a delight to create the ceremony which will express your own personalities. Your ceremony can reflect your own style, be personal, dignified, heart-felt, remembered and cherished for the rest of your lives.
You might like to involve family and friends and if so, I can make suggestions as to how they can have a special involvement in your ceremony or on the day.
To ensure everyone hears the ceremony, I wear a lapel microphone and supply a portable amplifier. I also supply a hand-held microphone if required.
